Halogen-free, flame-retardant cables with low smoke emission.

Intended for use as power and signaling cables in facilities with stricted fire-fighting requirements (hotels, hospitals, offices, airports, shopping centers, industrial facilities, etc.). Recommended for use in emergency lighting installations, smoke extractors, alarm, signaling, control systems, fire alarms and fire alarm systems as well as other safety circuits.

The cables must be fastened directly to the ground or hung to the bottom side of cable trays or similar structures using metal clips, eg steel ones, meeting the requirements of PN-EN 50200. Clips made of plastic can not be used. Cables can be laid on other supporting cable systems, eg trays, ladders, single brackets, fire resistance corresponding to the fire resistance of the cable.

Construction:

  • Core: Copper round single-core class 1, multi-wire class 2 or multi-wire flexible class 5 according to EN 0228
  • Earthing conductor: Made of tinned copper wires, single-wire class 1 or multi-wire class 2 according to EN 60228
  • Insulation: Special cross-linked halogen-free compound type EI2 FR according to EN 50363.1
  • Optional separator: Non-gritless halogen-free tapes
  • Screen: aluminum-polyester foil with non-insulated earthing conductor (ekwf)
  • Outer shell: Halogen-free flame retardant (H) thermoplastic according to ZN-TF-208

Types of FLAME-X 950 cables:

  • HDGs: cable with solid copper conductors (D), with silicone rubber insulation (Gs) and sheath with halogen-free thermoplastic material (H)
  • HLGs: cable with multi-wire (L) copper conductors, with silicone rubber insulation (Gs) and a sheath of halogen-free thermoplastic (H)
  • HLgGs: cable with multi-strand flexible copper conductors (Lg), with silicone rubber insulation (Gs) and sheath with halogen-free thermoplastic material (H)
  • HDGsekwf: cable with solid copper conductors (D), with silicone rubber insulation (Gs) and sheath of halogen-free thermoplastic material (H), with electrostatic screen made of aluminum foil coated with aluminum (ekwf)
  • HLGsekwf: cable with multi-wire (L) copper conductors, with silicone rubber insulation (Gs) and sheath of halogen-free thermoplastic (H), with electrostatic screen made of polyester foil coated with aluminum (ekwf)
  • HLgGsekwf: cable with multi-strand flexible copper conductors (Lg), with silicone rubber insulation (Gs) and sheath of halogen-free thermoplastic material (H), with electrostatic screen made of aluminum foil coated with aluminum (ekwf)
