Optotelecommunications tube cables, self-supporting, octal.

S-XOTKtsd - self-supporting cable, figure-eight (S), with polyethylene (X) coating, optotelecommunication (OTK), horn (loose tube), with dry center seal (ts), completely dielectric support element (d).

Construction:

  • Optical fiber:
    • Singlemode (J)
    • Singlemode with non-zero offset dispersion (Jn)
    • Multimode (G/50)
    • Multimode (G/62.5)
  • Tube: Central with optical fibers, filled with thixotropic gel
  • Sealing: Dry
  • Strengthening: Glass yarn
  • Coating: Polyethylene, black

Characteristics:

  • Useful properties:
    • Fully dielectric
    • Resistant to electromagnetic interference
    • Protected against penetration of moisture and longitudinal penetration of water
    • The cable coating is resistant to abrasion, UV radiation and stress corrosion
    • Metric printing and marking of cables are applied to the coating
    • The label can be adapted to customer requirements
  • Application:
    • In teleinformatic long-distance, wide and local networks, in each spatial configuration
    • Cables are adapted to be suspended on telephone line poles
    • Cables with a dielectric load-bearing element are adapted to be suspended on poles: railway traction, medium and low voltage power lines
  • Temperature ranges:
    • Transport and storage: -40°C ~ 70°C
    • Installation: -15°C ~ 55°C
    • Work: -40°C ~ 70°C
  • Options:
    • S-XOTKts - carrying element - steel cable
    • S-XOTKtsD - reinforced with aramid yarn (D)
