HD67059M-232 allow to insert in a MBus network the measuring instruments that communicates with Modbus. An innovative characteristic is that, it is possible to concentrate in a single MBus slave device various Modbus devices, or create more than one.

MBus (Meter-Bus) is an European standard for remote reading of wide range of consumption meters. As long as MBus has both physical and application layer in most cases there is a need for external protocol/electrical layer converter to read MBus meter. Converters with MBus interface are used to read the data from gas meters, energy meters, water meters and others.

The HD67059-232-B2 is a protocol converter between Modbus and MBus, which communicates on Modbus network using RTU. The module is Master at Modbus side and Slave at MBus side.
