INKNXMEB1200000 – M-Bus to KNX Gateway (3000 points, 120 devices).

The INKNXMEB1200000 is the flagship industrial M-Bus → KNX gateway in the Intesis portfolio, engineered to bridge up to 120 M-Bus meters with 3000 KNX datapoints. Acting as an M-Bus master, it polls every configured heat, water, gas or electricity meter and publishes the readings as fully standardised KNX group objects on the TP-1 bus. The result is a single, robust interface that puts comprehensive consumption data at the fingertips of BMS designers, facility managers and energy auditors.

Why choose INKNXMEB1200000?
  • Extreme scalability – handles dense metering networks across campuses, factories and smart-city districts.
  • High datapoint count – 3000 KNX objects provide headroom for detailed tariffing, KPI dashboards and predictive analytics.
  • Fast roll-out – auto-discovery in Intesis MAPS pairs meters to datapoints and exports an ETS project in minutes.
  • Realtime bidirectional control – threshold alarms, meter resets and maintenance flags can be triggered straight from KNX scenes.
  • Secure & reliable – on-board buffer stores readings during bus outages; galvanic isolation (2500 V DC) protects control cabinets.
  • Long-term support – 36-month warranty, field-upgradeable firmware and KNX certification for peace of mind.

Typical applications:
  1. Commercial campuses – tenant billing and ESG reporting across multiple office towers.
  2. Hospital complexes – departmental energy dashboards for cost allocation and sustainability targets.
  3. Industrial plants – integration of utility meters into SCADA/KNX hybrids for OEE optimisation.
  4. Public infrastructure – city-wide metering of street lighting, fountains and public buildings on a single KNX backbone.
